You're not really going to DVD with that app right? There may be other errors introduced by the other SW you'tre using.

I had problems with non-standard files (not 720x480, 29.97 fps, 48kHz), and found that if I wanted to burned directly to DVD, that ShowBiz DVD handled them fine (it comes free with may PCs).
